Procedural Technique
The G-SHOT takes about 15 minutes and can be performed as a lunchtime procedure in the office. Before the actual injection, Dr. Nguyen will perform a consultation, examination and take measurements. The injection is relatively painless. After the injection, a tampon will be inserted into the vagina. The patient should wait 4 hours before removing the tampon and engaging in sexual activity. Some patients will have temporary bleeding at the injection site.
What to Expect
After receiving the G-SHOT vaginal rejuvenation injection, 87% of women in a study had enhanced sexual arousal and gratification. Results may vary, but results typically last for about 6 months.

Hormones?
The G-SHOT® does not contain any hormones. The G-SHOT® consists of hyaluronic acid, a type of collagen that is naturally found in our own body. It is similar to the dermal fillers used to enhance facial volume.
Period Affected?
The G-SHOT® should not affect a woman’s menstrual cycle and patients may continue wearing tampons. Please let Dr. Nguyen know if there are any changes or problems with your period after you receive the G-SHOT®.
