When stimulated, the Grafenberg spot (also known as the G-spot) in the vagina can provide a powerful sexual climax for a woman. The G-SHOT injection (also known as the G-Spot Amplification™ or GSA™) is administered by a physician. It is made up of a filler material that temporarily enlarges the G-Spot to enhance sexual gratification. After receiving the injection, the G-spot becomes easier to identify and stimulate. Dr. Aimee Nguyen is a cosmetic surgeon in Frisco, TX (also serving Plano, Allen & McKinney),who specializes in cosmetic vaginal surgery and can help patients achieve more pleasure with the G-SHOT.

Procedural Technique

The G-SHOT takes about 15 minutes and can be performed as a lunchtime procedure in the office. Before the actual injection, Dr. Nguyen will perform a consultation, examination and take measurements. The injection is relatively painless. After the injection, a tampon will be inserted into the vagina. The patient should wait 4 hours before removing the tampon and engaging in sexual activity. Some patients will have temporary bleeding at the injection site.

What to Expect

After receiving the G-SHOT, 87% of women in a study had enhanced sexual arousal and gratification. Results may vary, but results typically last for about 6 months.

Estimated Cost

The cost of the G-SHOT is $1,850, and this includes the consultation and examination before the injection. To maintain the effect, patients should plan to get the G-SHOT® every 6 months.

G-Shot FAQs

The G-SHOT® does not contain any hormones. The G-SHOT® consists of a specially designed speculum and hyaluronan, a type of collagen. It is similar to the dermal fillers used to enhance facial volume.

Period Affected?

The G-SHOT® should not affect a woman’s menstrual cycle and patients may continue wearing tampons. Please let Dr. Nguyen know if there are any changes or problems with your period after you receive the G-SHOT®.

G-Shot or O Shot?

The Orgasm Shot® or O Shot is made from blood plasma and is used to treat urinary incontinence and sexual problems. The G-SHOT® is made from collagen and enhances the size of a woman’s G-spot, but does not treat sexual dysfunctions. Dr. Nguyen can help you determine what will best suit your needs during your consultation.
