As a mature woman of 69 with three deliveries of big lads, urine leakage and rectal issues are normal and come with the aging process. . . NOT! My doctor, Dr. Ruby John (excellent) referred me to Dr. Aimee Nguyen. After the first exam with the PA, my next appointment with Dr. Nguyen was very informative and reassuring. My issues were  easily fixed! Surgery was scheduled, what a great experience at Presbyterian Plano from admission to discharge the next day! 4 weeks post op, the bowel issues are completely resolved! oh my! Did not know how badly the repair was needed! some tweaking for the bladder issues will be addressed in January with a day surgery procedure. Dr. Aimee! thank you so much! More

Perfect results - I was back to my daily activities after 2 weeks - Dr. Nguyen provided exceptional care during my visits. Dr. Nguyen and her staff are very supportive and compassionate in the care they deliver. I was very comfortable knowing they have an all women staff. It made it easier for me to open up about any sensitive and private issues. The procedure I got done was labiaplasty and hymenoplasty. Everything went very smoothly. She and her staff went above and beyond for me and I will be forever grateful - I am a mother of 4 (all vaginal deliveries) which caused laxity. In my research to correct my issue, I found Dr. Nguyen on YouTube. I reached out to her office and got an immediate response from Chandler. She was extremely nice and helpful. Caring and Extremely Competent - From start to finish, Dr. Nguyen was wonderful. She made what could have been a very awkward topic comfortable and easy. My surgery was wonderful. I had very little discomfort and dr Nguyen was very attentive to my needs (and still is three months later). I recently went to my ob for an annual check up and she said scar wise at the vaginal opening she couldn’t even tell I had anything done , but internally I she could tell I have much more support. I have PAST bladder leakage from having 4 children and while Dr Nguyen had warned me that a vaginoplasty may not help much with that, it has!!! I have not had any leakage in three months, although I haven’t attempted a trampoline yet hahaI did have some complications (I had body contouring procedures done in conjunction with Dr Nguyen’s), but I felt like Dr Nguyen genuinely cared about my well being and called to check on me without being prompted. She was responsive to any request or questions I have had other the last three months. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen! More

Best Surgeon for the Job! - I consulted with 4 surgeons before deciding to go with Dr. Nguyen for my labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction. Out of all of them she had the most relevant experience and training, and patiently answered my laundry list of questions and concerns. During my consultation exam I could tell that she was making a game plan for my specific anatomy, and how to get as close to my goals as possible (very reduced but still natural looking, without harming sexual sensation of course). Other than a yeast infection I had no complications throughout healing. I do think my swelling lasted longer than most people, but at 7 months post-op I'm pretty sure I'm at my final result and satisfied. Clothing and exercise is finally comfortable, and while I don't feel that it looks like a 20 year old "tucked in" porn star I do think it looks much more "typical" now which is what I hoped for. I even went to a new obgyn for a well-woman exam and she said if I hadn't told her about the labiaplasty she wouldn't have been able to tell. If that's not a testament to a natural appearance then I don't know what is! No scars or bumps are left, just some natural wrinkling. So happy I finally pulled the trigger and got this done! More

I’m 1 month post op and I’m still healing from having 2 procedures done with Dr. Nguyen, but I’m so happy so far with the whole process. From my 1st consultation the staff is amazing and the doctor herself is so nice and answers all your questions and makes you feel so comfortable. Great & Positive Experience! I'm currently about 3wks post-op & super happy with my results! - With the stigma surrounding cosmetic surgery as well as women's sexuality, I was hesitant to get this procedure done for a very long time even after finding out about it - the shape/appearance of my labia isn't something I ever discussed with anyone, despite the fact that the extra skin was often uncomfortable & bothersome, and made me feel insecure about the appearance of my vagina as well. The fact that the subject is so taboo only made me feel more insecure, because I couldn't talk openly about any of the issues I was having & instead felt like I had to hide them. However, Dr. Nguyen understood all of these things, and was very easy to talk to each time I came in! She validated all of my concerns enthusiastically, and assured me that I would benefit from a labiaplasty. I didn't need too much convincing since I had been thinking about it for so long, but any uncertainties or reservations I had were quickly dispelled after my consultation with her! Dr. Nguyen does a great job of bringing a warm and friendly energy into the room, and she was always engaging, attentive, & seemed genuinely excited to be taking care of me. I felt very informed every step of the way, and even outside of our scheduled appointments she still made time to give me a call when I had some additional questions before surgery! It's clear that Dr. Nguyen is very passionate about her work and making sure each of her patients has a good experience, which is so important in a procedure as intimate as this one.I'm currently about 3wks post-op & super happy with my results!!! Visited Dr. Aimee today for my initial consult and I am 100% ready! Her team in the office is fabulous. She is prompt, professional and caring and is a fabulous communicator. She answered every question that I had and more. She performed the exam and I knew that I was in the right place. She confirmed my concerns and I am currently scheduling my surgery with her. Dr. Aimee Nguyen, her PA and entire staff are caring, considerate, and compassionate. I had severe prolapse and over active bladder and was recommend to Dr. Nguyen by my GYN. Having put off doing anything about a Bladder Prolapse diagnosis years ago. Re-occurring UTI’s made it a priority recently. It was suggested I see a Urogynecologist. I did my research, and just like you are, read the reviews for Dr. Aimee Nguyen. I can honestly say through my initial contact with her staff. First visit with her PA-C Tien and subsequent visit with Dr. Nguyen all have been nothing short of kind, caring & professional. Upon my visit and examination by Dr. Nguyen she determined more than a prolapse repair would be necessary. Shall we say after two kiddos, and a hysterectomy. Dr. Nguyen and her staff provided the best customer service and patient care anyone could ask for. I was treated like royalty. The facility alone is very clean, fashionable, and contemporary. I will admit I was very afraid to get the procedure but after my initial visit with Dr. Nguyen, she made me feel very comfortable and safe. She took her time and explained my procedure clearly and precisely and she answered every question I had. On the day of my procedure the anesthesiologist was awesome and professional with his care. She answered any and all questions that I wanted to ask. My surgery was a success. I had about two weeks of pain where I needed to take a strong pain reliever to minimize the pain. The third week I didn't need to take pain relievers at all. For the two weeks I did feel discomfort when I would sit so I sat on a cushion donut which relieved the pain some. During the third and fourth week I experienced some itching more likely from the dissolvable stitches. I am now in my fifth week and I do not have any pain, or itching. I can feel that a surgery occurred but I'm not in any discomfort or pain. The before and after pictures are literally night and day. Dr. Nguyen did an excellent job on my reconstructive surgery. I'm very happy with the results and I would recommend anyone to her because she will take good care of you and you will walk away with positive results. More

Kybella - I’ve been wanting Kybella for a little over 2 years and decided to take the plunge and do it on my 29th birthday (January 17, 2020). For reference I’m 109lbs and 5ft. I’ve always had a small double chin but it got worse with each pregnancy (2) and never went away like the rest of my pregnancy weight. During the consultation I was recommended 2 sessions (2nd session scheduled March 6th) 3 vials each time. We did the 1st session immediately after the consultation. The numbing was the most painful part, after that everything was a breeze.I’ll post pics of my journey. Today is day 1 following treatment (not 24hrs post yet) and I have some sensitivity and my “double chin” is jiggly. Some slight bruising but other than that no issues. I was advised to sleep elevated which I did and will continue to do so for the next 2 nights at least. I iced 3-4 times yesterday and so far 1 time today. I’ll post pics today of a couple months before/a couple weeks before/immediately after procedure/today (1 day after).Updated on 19 Jan 2020:1/19/20Still swollen, still have some bruising which I expected considering it’s only day 2 post procedure. I purchased some Arnica gel yesterday and applied that 3 times a day. I believe I iced 2-3 times yesterday and only once today so far. From here out I’ll try to post weekly updates!Updated on 25 Jan 2020:So today’s 8 days post procedure. I still have some swelling but not as bad as before. The area is still a little bit sensitive and feels as though it’s still full of liquid like it can jiggle. It tingles every now and then and almost all feeling is back (I forgot to mention before that it was somewhat numb). I do have some bruises still but they're hard to see because they’re now yellow. Sometimes my jaw hurts like I’ve been clenching my teeth and I’m not sure if I have been clenching or if it’s from the Kybella lol. I didn’t ask during my procedure if it was safe to use all my skin care on my chin so I haven’t been using any harsh chemicals in that area only acne face wash, hydrating toner and moisturizer with spf!Updated on 4 Feb 2020:Sorry I’m behind on updating, I’m currently getting over the flu. I still have a little bit of swelling but not much. I can feel everything’s hard under the swelling. Best surgical experience ever. They have become like family to me - Here's a brief background on myself before I dive into this review: I am a female who is finishing up her last year in college. I grew up unaware that my labia were longer than what is considered to be normal. I always just thought that every other woman I knew was also having the same everyday difficulties that I experienced (difficult to put tampons in, chaffing, bulging in swimsuits, etc). Once I came to college my freshman year, I realized this was not the case, and that I was indeed on the "larger spectrum." It was absolutely humiliating, and I immediately began researching ways to solve this unfortunate issue. I soon discovered that getting a labiaplasty done was a real thing! Fast forward to my senior year of college (I'm typing this on January 11, 2018). I have had three surgeries within the past 12 months (including my labiaplasty with Dr. Nguyen). The first two surgeries were due to a cyst-related issue that took a very long time to be resolved. The recoveries for my first two surgical procedures were horrendous to say the least, so when I decided to endure a labiaplasty (third surgery/most recent- I had it done on December 17, 2018), I was a bit nervous. With that being said, I did a lot of research on who I wanted to perform this delicate procedure. Every time I ever looked up reviews on surgeons who perform this procedure, people RAVED about their time with Dr. Nguyen. I never once saw a negative review concerning her or her staff. I now completely understand those reviews. THIS WAS THE BEST SURGICAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD (and I feel like with my surgical past, I have the credentials to say this). Every question I had, or my parents had, was answered in detail by both Dr. Nguyen and Chandler Little (Dr. Nguyen's amazing surgical/patient coordinator). The patience they had while answering our tremendous number of questions was truly remarkable. Dr. Nguyen and her staff want their patients to be comfortable and relaxed, and I felt all those things, even right before I was put to sleep for the surgery! I woke up with little to no pain and essentially had a new positive outlook on my body!! Of course I had to take it easy post-op. I experienced a little more swelling than normal a couple weeks into the recovery, so Dr. Nguyen restitched and I was sent on my way. I cannot emphasize enough how fantastic this whole experience was. If you are on the verge of deciding to go through with a labiaplasty, do it, and only do it with Dr. Nguyen. I can promise you, you will be thrilled with the results. On my last post-op appointment, I didn't even want to say bye to Dr. Nguyen and her staff- they have become like family to me and my parents. I am glad to say it was worth my time and money - I had the Exilis procedure done and I am glad to say it was worth my time and money! I was informed of my appointment in advance and was given many opportunities to ask any questions to the staff members of what to expect before the procedure. Exceptional Results from Labiaplasty & Hysterectomy with Prolapse - I was nervous to travel for surgery but Dr Nguyen and her staff are exceptional. I needed a urogynecologist for my prolapse issues and do not have one in my area so when I did a consult with Dr. Nguyen I learned she was double certified in plastics and urogynecology. She did a full exam to access the problem and explained my options to me to correct my gynecological issues and also discussed with me my interest in a labiaplasty. She was very straight forward and had comforting bedside manner. There was no pressure and she never tried to sell me on anything just simply discussed with me what I was there for and what she could do to correct the problem. Her and her staff addressed all my questions and concerns, the process was very easy from start to finish. I came to see Dr. Nguyen because I was experiencing bladder stress incontinence. Labiaplasty Review - After researching several different doctors online, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Nguyen (and I'm so glad I did). Her office is about 45minutes from where I live but the drive (and the toll bills) were worth it. Shortly after meeting with her, I knew she was the one I wanted to perform my surgery. She was very detailed and informative on what I should expect during and after the procedure. I scheduled my surgery that day for a month out. I was nervous leading up to the surgery, but it was something I've been wanting to have done for a while. The morning of my surgery the anesthesiologist made me feel comfortable. The entire staff was very nice to my boyfriend and mom. After surgery I wasn't as in much pain as I expected to be. The following days after I wasn't either. Labiaplasty at 19 - When I was younger I had a surgery to correct my completley closed hymen. Although my surgeon said that this couldn't be the cause, I didn't have large unproportioned labias until then. While growing up my labias were uncomfortable and I felt conscious about them. I was in dance and they always felt in the way and bulky. At 19 years old I got them fixed and I couldn't be more happier with the results. The procedure is pretty simple and Dr. Nguyen explains everything. You have a first check up and she lets you know what needs to be done to fix your problem. They let you know straight away the cost of the procedure and how to pay for it if you can't pay it all out of pocket. If you are young, they are more than willing to talk to a parent and including them. You get all the needed prescriptions before your surgery to make everything as smooth as possible. They are very organized in scheduling your surgery and more than gracious to answer any concerns or questions. Make sure to fully follow preoperation instructions and get rest! Full recovery took me about 7 weeks and wasn't that bad. The first 4 weeks you may feel some discomfort and I would really take it easy if you have a physically demanding job. If you are planning to have this surgery, definitely think about it and look into Dr.Nguyen because she is the best. More

37 Years Old, 3 Kids and Needed my Vaginal Muscles Back to Normal!! - Ladies, I must say, this is the best decision I ever made out of all my elective surgeries (tummy tuck, breast augmentation) I've had. After 3 vaginal deliveries, I decided to have a Vaginalplasty with Dr. Nguyen. Before my surgery sex was OK, I didn't have much of any feeling and felt somewhat loose. I felt insecure about my husband looking at my vaginal area. Now that I've had the surgery, my vaginal muscles are SO tight, my vagina looks so small. I am completely confident about my husband looking at it, in fact, I don't even care anymore. After surgery, I was really only down a couple days, then its a smooth ride after the first week. I only took the pain meds the first week. The first couple months sex is pretty painful and lubricant is a MUST!! Its now been 4 months and I still have to use some lubricant to help the tenderness. I'm hoping as the months progress I wont have to use any since I never had to before. I will say before the surgery, I did my research on doctors and Dr. Nguyen was rated the best and I only go with the BEST! Before my surgery, I was able to speak with 2 of her patients that had the procedures and they were very helpful with the information they provided. 38 Year Old with 3 Kids Ready to Improve Sex Life - I don't really have too bad an issue down there. I've retained good vaginal muscle tone and am petite. I don't leak urine and self lubricate just fine. I can insert my middle finger and grip without issue. But now I'm done having kids and ready to make improvements all around. Immediately after the procedure my inner walls were swollen and tighter as well as the opening and labia. I can now insert my pinky finger and grip it really well. After treatment ,I felt and still feel a bit sore as if I've had all night marathon sex. Not Old, No Kids; Just Another Ugly Vagina - I've been secretly wanting a labiaplasty since puberty. I'm 37 and have no children. I was off work 4 days. I personally didn't need any help after. I slow cooked some stew beforehand and had lots of charcuterie, yogurt, etc. to eat. I broke a few stitches and Dr. Nguyen got me in right away to sew them back up. That was the most painful part, so don't break your stitches. Otherwise, pain level was "eeeeh" or "oough" for a couple weeks. There was a lot of itch and soreness but I wasn't unable to go to work. Dr. Nguyen was the perfect doctor for this surgery. This is 4 weeks out and only needed one pain pill and it was the mild one at that. Just follow orders, no bending at 90 degrees and no lifting over a gallon of milk. I bought the 1/2 gallons which were even nicer to have on hand. After surgery I felt back to my normal self again.
